I offer heart-centered and trauma-informed bodywork, education and facilitation for those who wish to nurture intimate connection with themselves.

Hello, I’m Brigid.

I welcome you into sacred space dedicated to learning, healing, and self-discovery.

My practice is grounded in seven years of experience in sexological work, enriched by the last four years of ongoing study through the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education. In this context, I hold the somatic sex education aspect of my practice as a practitioner in training, continuously evolving and honing my skills under the guidance of trusted mentors and the support of my community of peers.

Since 2016 I have been creating experiences for women to explore body + spirit through multi-week classes, ritual, workshops, and nature immersions.

I hold my practice in The Hawthorn Room on Hereford Ave, SSI BC. I also hold weekly group sessions for women.

Folks seek me out for various reasons, including:

  • Healing Trauma: For those who have faced sexual trauma or negative conditioning, this work serves as a pathway to reclaim their bodies and heal.

  • Enhancing Pleasure: Many wish to expand their capacity for pleasure, exploring new realms of sensuality and deepening their connection to their desires.

  • Reconnecting with the Body: In a world where disconnection can be common, this practice fosters a sense of presence and self-awareness, helping you reconnect with your physical self.

  • Overcoming Shame: This space allows for confronting and moving beyond the pervasive shame often associated with sexuality.

  • Exploring Identity: It provides a means to explore and understand your sexual identity, including questions of gender and orientation.

  • Improving Sexual Relationships: Gaining insight into your own desires and boundaries can lead to healthier, more fulfilling connections with yourself and your partners.

  • Empowerment: This work empowers you to communicate your desires clearly, understand your body, and make choices rooted in self-awareness.

  • Sensory Exploration: You’ll have the opportunity to delve into your sensory experiences, gaining a deeper understanding of how your body responds to different stimuli.

  • Claiming Pleasure as Your Birthright: This journey challenges societal norms that often stigmatize pleasure, encouraging you to embrace it as a natural part of being human.

  • Spiritual Growth: For some, this work becomes a deeply spiritual journey, exploring the connection between sensuality and spirituality, and honoring the sacredness of your body.

Whether you are exploring this path individually or as a couple, our time together will always be:

  • Non-Judgmental: A space where all feelings and experiences are valid and met with empathy.

  • Experiential: Centered on hands-on learning and personal exploration, from mindful touch to guided visualizations.

  • Empowering: Focused on enhancing your understanding and connection with your sexuality and self.

I grew up immersed in the beauty of Cape Breton Island, NS, surrounded by the whispers of deep-rooted birch trees and the scent of salt in the air. The rugged cliffs were my playground, and the crashing waves of the deep ocean felt like dear friends.

For the past 12 years, I’ve been raising my daughter, Zora, on a small island in the Salish Sea. Our life here is a dance with the elements, a realization of a dream my inner child held dearly.

My connection to nature and my Gàidhlig heritage have significantly shaped my personal journey. As a proud descendant of the Outer Hebrides, I honour my ancestral roots and their influence on my life and practice.

In the heart of nature, I continually find inspiration and insights that guide my work.

This Motherline lives on.

I remain incredibly grateful for all my teachers.

For those holding the torch at the Institute:

Dr. Liam Capt Snowdon, Corinne Diachuk, Katie Spataro

I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the trailblazers in the field of sexological bodywork—those with fire in their hearts, courageously carving a path for us to connect with the sacred dimensions of our sexuality.

I hold a heart full of gratitude for my beloved Coven.

Seraphina Capranos at the Centre for Sacred Arts, for being my priestess teacher this past decade.

Caffyn Jesse, for lovingly guiding me onto an inspiring and integral path of sexological work and sacred intimacy many moons ago.

Rich Hill, my Gàidhlig teacher, for supporting me in learning my ancestral language and sharing the traditions my ancestors from the Outer Hebrides practiced in different rites.

Many other teachers I've encountered through workshops, courses, immersions and retreats, no matter how brief, have left a lasting impact on my life. Some of those names include: Daniel Foor, Elfie Emaya Shaw, Jon Young, Pulxaneeks.
